Selected experience / Through Linean
Agency workflows, from applications to claims.
During my October 2025–September 2026 role at Linean, I worked on grant-management software for a California state agency and healthcare claims workflows for a school agency.
These are anonymous summaries of my work. My engagement is complete; client deployment status is not stated here.
01 / California state agency
Grant-management software.
The work
I contributed to a California state-agency grant-management workflow through Linean. The public scope here is grant software: the work around applications, review and records.
The engineering questions I bring
Who needs to act next? Can a reviewer understand the information behind a decision? Can staff find the history of an application without reconstructing it from separate messages?
Those questions help define a workflow before a framework or database is chosen.
Status: My Linean engagement is complete. This summary describes domain experience and contribution; release details remain with the client.
02 / School-agency healthcare
Claims workflows.
The work
I worked on school-agency healthcare claims workflows through Linean. This is an area where access to a record, the next action and the history of a change need careful attention.
The engineering questions I bring
What is the source of truth? Who can view or change a record? What happens when a claim needs correction, or when a normal step cannot finish?
I want those rules to be understandable to the people doing the work and explicit enough for engineers to test.
Status: My engagement is complete. The client is anonymous, and this public note keeps the implementation and claims data private.
A way to think about the work
Keep the record connected to the decision.
A generic illustration of the questions I use to discuss a workflow. This is a synthetic example, not a diagram of either client's system.
